About Main Beach Park

Amelia Island's most well-known beachfront park offers visitors two sand volleyball courts, a playground, several picnic shelters, restroom facilities, outdoor showers, beach accesses, a multipurpose court, a skate park and a large grassy area perfect for a game of catch or when you need a little break from the sand. Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.Main Beach Park is managed and maintained by the City of Fernandina Beach. For rental and general information on any of the City of Fernandina Beach parks, please call the Atlantic Recreation Center at 904-277-7350.

Very nice

Spent a couple hours here. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded. No changing area. Plenty of parking.

Fourth of July week

Love this beach although it was super packed for the fourth it was quiet and not overly crowded you still had your place of space to yourself without being right on top of other people the ocean is...
