Golf Club at North Hampton

The Golf Club at North Hampton is carved into the natural surroundings and framed by spring-fed lakes lined with coquina boulders and the wild grass and rolling dunes capture the feel of a Scottish links-style course.  Ornamented with bridges and man-made dunes, the rolling, high elevation course offers a perfect combination of the area’s natural beauty and the best of golf course architecture.

All of these unique design features, coupled with the crowned fairways and fine sugar sand and coquina shell bunkers help to make North Hampton one of Florida’s most interesting and original courses.

Arnold would be ashamed of what happened to this place.

The staff are friendly. The clubhouse needs a lot of work. The greens are okay, but the rest of the course is in terrible shape.

Course conditions awful

This place was 82.00 dollars on Sunday morning. The tee boxes were awful as were the fairways. This course needs some new management what a waste of money. It use to be a really nice course but it seems they are not spending anything on improvements. To be fair fair the greens were decent. A track in thw. aqis shape should be 40.00 not 82.00. Uggh. Got me once but not again.

Find a playable course

Not my favorite course.Best part of our experience the people that worked at the course and restaurant. If your index is above 15 I would suggest finding another course. The backside is very difficult. It's a lot like a links course with the addition of water. It's not in the best shape starting with the tee boxes, fairways marginal, and greens not so good.

No marshaling, took almost 90 minutes to play 4 1/2 holes. Drove around the group in from taking 7 holes to catch the group in front of us.

The restaurant food was pretty good. Burger is very good and chicken tenders were also good.

I would not go back

Disappointed

Played with a buddy on 1/26/21 and we won’t be going back. We’d played there a couple of years ago (he lives locally, I was vacationing on Amelia) and loved it so I booked us again. Boy, things have changed! Half of the tee boxes had little to no grass, the fairways had little grass, and most of the greens had weeds growing on them that would redirect a putt. The maintenance guys were removing beautiful bunkers and sodding them in “to make it easier playing and easier maintenance”. I don’t know what’s happened, but it’s not good!

It is a beautiful setting and great layout, but they’ve dropped the ball on maintenance.

Oh, #18 green behind the clubhouse was in great shape! I guess that’s for viewing pleasure.

horrible course horrible experience horrible staff

i was in the yulee area with my family to spend new years with some friends who live there. i wanted to take my son to play a NICE golf course in the area. let me begin by saying the website makes this place look awesome. it was anything but awesome. first of all, the fairways are horrible, the greens look they had not been mowed in several days and they had weeds growing out of them. the bunkers were even worse. as we got to the first hole and started to get our drivers out of our bags we were passed by a foursome that informed us that they were already late for their tee time and they were going to be slow so we need to just be patient. so after they finally teed off and were out of the fairway headed to the green our group proceeded to hit our tee shots and go to our next shot. we waited for 10 minutes to hit our second shots from the fariway while the guys on the green ahead of us argued over who made double bogey and who made quadruple bogey, {they could have argued it out on the way to the next hole, just saying}. while we were waiting to hit our second shots we were paid a visit by the course starter who informed us WE were going to have to speed up or leave. it was the first hole and we were still waiting to hit our approach shots to the green! the group ahead of us was still arguing on the green, even though they had all already finished the hole, and he did not even go up there and say anything to them. as slow as that group was we did not see the group behind us after the third hole. i feel sorry for those behind that group. to make matters worse the starter stalked us several different times throughout the round with a very sarcastic smirk on his face every time he rode by us, still yet he never said anything to the group in front of us about speeding up.
i will never go back to this golf course. all i wanted to do was take my son to play what we thought would be a very nice golf course in the area with some friends to start off 2021 in a positive way after the year 2020 has been.
