Between December and February, the destination celebrates some of the lowest rates, along with consistently dry and comfortable temperatures for endless walks on the beach all to yourself. If you’re looking for directions to Amelia Island, the island is easy to get to but hard to forget. For flights to Amelia Island, it’s best to book via Jacksonville International Airport. From there, rental cars, shuttles, or rideshare services are available for the approximately 45-minute drive to Amelia Island. Once on the island, there are several rental car agencies, as well as taxi and shuttle services available for getting around. Visitors that opt to drive directly to the island come via Interstate 95, which runs along the eastern coast of the United States.
