Peters Point Beachfront Park is centrally located on Amelia Island and is easily accessible with plenty of parking. Bathrooms are also available with indoor and outdoor showers as well as picnic tables for dining. A great place for families to enjoy the wide beach for playing, strolling, sunbathing, surf fishing, or ocean swimming.
Peters Point Park beach access allows beach driving onto the sand and parking on the beach (non-residents require a permit).
Great beach!
We enjoy coming to this beach with our family from FB. The drive-on is great along with setting up for a barbecue and relaxation on the beach.
Very, Very Nice
We preferred Peters Point Beach over Main Beach because its nice white sand and less crowded conditions. There is a nice parking lot, but those with four wheel drive can park on the beach. You can walk for miles in a very pleasant environment. Fishing is popular. There are some shells, but mostly it is a sandy beach. Rest room and showers are available.
Overcrowded
Too many people and too many cars. Just not a pleasant beach. There are many other nicer beaches along the Amelia Island coast.
Great Beach for Families and dogs
Amelia Island is one of the most Dog friendly places in Florida. We love our Dogs, and the Dogs love the beach. If you are a Nassau County Fl. resident, you can park your car in a area on the beach.. This is a beautiful beach..Restrooms are available, and there are several small shelters in the parking area.
Beautiful Beach
Beautiful Beach with all the amenities. Big parking lot restrooms and bridge to walk over the dunes. There were about 8 Horses walking on the beach when we got there. We also spotted a baby sea Turtle The beach was very clean and not crowded at all
