We are a local family owned and operated, multi-award-winning business offering professionally guided kayak tours/rentals, Hobie Mirage® Kayaks, SUP’s, private motorboat tours, hiking/nature walks, and teen/kids camps for Amelia Island, Cumberland Island, and the surrounding areas. We accommodate individual families as well as small and large groups. We are honored that our guests have rated us #1 for kayaking in the area for over 10 consecutive years.
Tour Options: Our kayak tours range from black water wooded environments to estuaries, salt marshes, intracoastal waterways, Cumberland Island, Okefenokee Swamp, and Suwannee and St. Marys Rivers. We are also permitted through the National Park Service to offer tours to Cumberland Island National Seashore where guests can get off and spend time on the Island. So guests are more comfortable, we like to offer a variety of sizes vs. a one size fits all kayak. As a gift from our family to you, we provide a complimentary digital photo album with all of our kayak tours.
We love what we do, have a passion for the outdoors and care about people. It is our goal to help our guests have an authentic, fun and informative experience as they explore the natural setting of our area. Kayaking is a wonderful way to get “off the beaten path”, and we would be delighted to be a part of your time on the water.

Scenic Guided Tour - Family Kayak Adventure
Loved the kayaking creek tour! Beautiful scenery and personalized guide info. Aaron, our guide, was so good about instructions before embarking and about taking breaks with information about the terrain, wildlife, and history. Our family had all ages…5 to 75 and it worked for all of us since we had tandem kayaks. Aaron even captured a turtle for a while to let the kids hold. Gorgeous day! Would like to go again on another creek another time.
Fun on the Creek
Great first time experience kayaking! It was easy even for 50-60 year olds. We got to see lots of flowers, alligators and turtles! The guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and kept us safe on the adventure! I highly recommend this company!
Okie Dokie Okefenokee
We had an incredible day kayaking in the Okefenokee Swamp with Madison as our guide. The weather was gorgeous and the paddling was easy and serene. The scenery was beautiful as we passed through four different ecosystems. Each was unique and amazing to encounter. We saw tons of alligators - over eighty - but Madison always kept us at a safe distance. We also encountered many interesting and beautiful birds including a black-crowned night-heron, a white ibis, a white heron, a double-crested cormorant, and a swallow-tailed kite. As an extra treat, on the drive back we were able to stop and pick up some gallberry honey - a flavorful honey found in southern Georgia and northern Florida.
This was our third expedition with AIKE and they’ve always gone above and beyond to provide us with a wonderful experience. They also take amazing pictures of your adventure and provide you with a digital photo album to help capture your memories.
