About Main Beach Park

Amelia Island's most well-known beachfront park offers visitors two sand volleyball courts, a playground, several picnic shelters, restroom facilities, outdoor showers, beach accesses, a multipurpose court, a skate park and a large grassy area perfect for a game of catch or when you need a little break from the sand. Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.Main Beach Park is managed and maintained by the City of Fernandina Beach. For rental and general information on any of the City of Fernandina Beach parks, please call the Atlantic Recreation Center at 904-277-7350.

Nice beach!

Very nice beach with easy access and plenty of free parking along with restaurants. While wintering in Florida we enjoy visiting so many beaches.

Beach area was wonderful to walk on, and wide enough that it didn't seem crowded. White sand and good waves!

Easy access with great amenities

We thoroughly enjoyed this beach. Shelling is the best I’ve seen of any beach. It is close proximity to a park and parking. As well as the Salt Life bar, which is a great place to eat to take in...
