A well-preserved Civil War era fort and beautiful natural surroundings make up Fort Clinch State Park with something for everyone to do. Featuring daily tours of the fort and six miles of trails for biking and hiking as well as a beach for sunbathing, swimming, surf fishing, and beachcombing offer plenty of recreational activities. Two campgrounds, one at the beach and another at the river, offer overnight accommodations with full facilities.

Beautiful park

Started at the beach site camping in an RV and then we moved to the riverside site (the beach site was fully booked). Great Campgrounds, we preferred the beach site. The park is fantastic, the beach...

Great park and Fort!

We thought we were coming to visit a state park and found out about the Civil War fort. This was a wonderful experience and the park is very well kept.

When you visit the fort and see the sparse accommodations provided for our defenders it makes you appreciate our freedoms. If you are in the area I would suggest a visit.
