Join the good folks at the Amelia Tavern for this German born celebration featuring traditional Oktoberfest beer releases and food specials.Sip on Oktoberfest Bier, Simone Says Saison, and Merlot Barrel Aged Saison while dining on Loaded Brat, Crispy Potato Pancake, Crispy Pork Schnitzel, & Oktoberfest Flatbread (Bratwurst, Pickled Cabbage, Swiss Cheese, Bavarian Mustard).

Virtual Amelia Island Jazz Festival

October 9 – 11 
An annual tradition since 2001, the Amelia Island Jazz Festival is an incredible celebration of the all-American musical genre of jazz. The festival will be held virtually this year and will kick off on Friday, October 9 with a Virtual Headliner Concert celebrating the music Duke Ellington with a Show titled, “A Salute To The Duke”, plus a special Tribute to the late, great Alto Sax legend, Richie Cole and the late local Guitar/Vocal favorite, Dan Voll. Saturday’s Virtual Headliner Concert will celebrate the music of Louis Armstrong with a Show titled, “To Satchmo With Love” featuring Trumpet Star and Vocalist - Longineu Parsons with The Dynamic Les DeMerle Jazz Trio: Doug Matthews-Piano, Ernie Ealum-Bass, Les DeMerle-Drums and an opening segment with Bonnie Eisele-Vocals. Both of these online ticketed virtual concerts will be broadcast on FaceBook Live from Story & Song Bookstore Bistro on Amelia Island. Virtual Zooma Run – 5K and 12K 

Sunday, October 18 from 7am – 10am 
With the hopes that everyone stays happy, healthy and fit during these interesting times, the 2020 Zooma Women’s Race will be held virtually this year. How does a virtual race work? Zooma will be hosting a race day experience including a dedicated start time and live tracking app.The Active Runner Tracking app is super easy to use and you’ll be able to time your own 5K and 12K run course. Your race times and place updates will be live as the race progresses. Head to head competition will start at a designated time but you can run anytime that works for you! Breathe - A Virtual Wellness Retreat
