Amelia Island is as known for it’s storied history just as much as it’s known for nature, wildlife, and beaches. Whether your vows are made on a beach, verandah, porch, in a garden, or a grand hallway, the timeless memories made will last a lifetime and beyond. Take a look at these six historical properties where you and your betrothed can tie the knot.
Situated on the corner of S 7th and Cedar Streets, this grand 8,000 sq ft Italiante Villa stands as proud as she did in 1885 when she was built by Major George Fairbanks as a surprise for his wife. The Fairbanks House not only boasts the mansion itself but also three cottages and a pool all on a gorgeously landscaped acre featuring native plants, palm trees, large oaks and a butterfly garden. If you want to skip all the hoopla of a big wedding, the Elopement Package may be just what you’re looking for. Get all the package details here.

Fort Clinch State Park provides a stellar backdrop and is perfect for smaller weddings… especially at sunset.
