Fort Clinch

Calling all history buffs! Civil War era FORT CLINCH STATE PARK provides daily fort tours, trails for biking and hiking, beachcombing, sunbathing, swimming, and surf fishing. Gregor MacGregor Mini Links & Drinks

Who's up for a family-friendly game of putt putt? GREGOR MACGREGOR’S MINI LINKS & DRINKS combines some of Florida’s favorite pastimes: a round of golf, a tasty drink and beautiful scenery right in the heart of historic downtown. Bring out a little family competition on this lush garden putt-putt course where you can dine on corn dogs, hot dogs, popcorn, jumbo pretzels, and novelty ice cream treats. 201 Alachua Street

Duck Pinz

Nothing brings a family together like bowling. Or miniature bowling in this case. The Duck Pinz craze has hit Amelia Island and your clan is gonna love it. Duck pinz balls are smaller than regular bowling balls, with no finger holes, and the pins are shorter and lighter than traditional bowling. Since it's pretty hard to get a strike, you are allowed 3 tries each turn. It's a good time. Oh, and in addition to bowling, there's a craft cocktail and bourbon bar upstairs. 27 N 3rd Street

If you have little ones that will want to check off some Island adventures all their own, look over this bucket list for kids and get out there and enjoy!
