Any day is the perfect opportunity to treat mom, or the special woman in your life, to a delicious brunch to celebrate her – and each other. Not sure where to go? No worries! We’ve gathered a list of enticing brunch spots all around the island to help with a scrumptious day you’ll always remember!
Wake up to breakfast over the ocean at FloraBelle where their amazing signature buffet, The “Morning Table” will make sure you don’t leave hungry. With choices of French toast, cold smoked salmon, eggs any way you want them, pecanwood smoked bacon and much more, the indulgent buffet serves up just about any and everything you could want. Of course, you can still order a la carte if you want. The choice is yours!
Salty Pelican is a tourist and local favorite dining spot in downtown Fernandina with spectacular views of the Amelia River. Their Sunday Brunch menu varies from week to week but one thing is for sure… it is always delicious. Ask your server about the Bloody Mary specials and Mimosa options on Sundays and raise a glass to each other. 10 am – 2 pm
Garden Street Bistro is a great little restaurant located on 3rd Street in historic downtown that serves breakfast and brunch all day, every day. Not only do they specialize in original menu items, but they also have incredible freshly baked daily bread, burgers, crab cakes, wraps and daily specials. Sit inside or outside in the courtyard beneath wisteria vines and sip on a sparkling mimosa.
Visit a place where the likes of Ulysses S. Grant, Henry Ford, Laurel and Hardy, and Mary Pickford have all laid their heads and dined. Leddy’s Porch Bistro, located in the historic Florida House Inn dishes up simple, clean, southern fare for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Try their famous buttermilk fried chicken & waffles and bottomless Bloody Mary’s & Mimosas. Dine inside, on the covered porch, or in the beautiful courtyard.
Twisted Table, nestled in the heart of downtown, isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a family kitchen! The menu is filled with dishes made from the heart—crafted with love, passion, and treasured family recipes. Whether you’re here for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, each bite feels like it was made just for you. At Twisted Table, it doesn’t feel like eating out—it feels like coming home.
Dine under the oaks on the beautiful patio or have a seat in the cafe with an eclectic palette of colors and furnishings. Wherever you sit at Café Karibo you’re guaranteed a Sunday Brunch chock full of flavor. Try the Shrimp & Grits, Crabby Eggs Benedict, or the Chorizo Hash Breakfasat Bowl. Top it all off with a homemade dessert fit for a King, or a Queen. Begins at 9am.
Located on the south end of Amelia Island is a bright, breezed eatery tucked away from the main lines just waiting to serve you a delicious Sunday brunch and refill your glass. Pogo’s Kitchen represents southern hospitality at its finest and their made from scratch cornbread is a Sunday Brunch must have. That, along with the buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, will leave you and your mama with a satisfied tummy. 10 am – 2 pm
The Patio at 5th and Ash serves up so much goodness you’re going to find it hard to decide. Will it be classic Eggs Benedict or a Rise & Shine Burger? Or, thick Texas toast style French toast dusted with confectioners sugar. That’s just a sampling of their incredible brunch menu. Wash it down with one of several brunch cocktails. 10 am – 3 pm.
Coast offers a fresh new taste on coastal cuisine with a seasonal menu that includes a local seafood, steaks, salads and small plates created with great passion. Offering the delicious Amelia Island breakfast buffet.
Enjoy a great cup of coffee and southern home-cookin’ at Bantam & Biddy located on the south end of the island. They serve breakfast all day so there’s no rush – but get there early any way, the Fried Chicken and Cheddar Waffle is waiting for you. Add the homemade bourbon-pecan syrup to it. Trust me.
