November is almost here and that means sweater weather and warm drinks! With so much to see and do on Amelia Island, getting properly fueled up is a must. Here are our favorite local coffee shops and cafes that have everything you need to either kick start your day, keep it going, or just keep you warm.
Located in downtown Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island Coffee is always up early. With a variety of hot and cold coffee and espresso drinks, organic teas, freshly baked pastries, and breakfast sandwiches and bagels, I’d say they have all your breakfast items covered. Grab a table or a seat on a comfy sofa and enjoy the eclectic vibe of “the coffee shop”.
The perfect spot for a sweet treat and an espresso! Nana Teresa’s Bake Shop has a nice selection of cupcakes, cannolis, eclairs, cookies, tarts, and cakes, as well as your choice of coffee, latte and espresso drinks. If you need a break from strolling the shops in downtown Fernandina Beach, this is a great place to take a load off!
Located on 5th and Ash Street in downtown Fernandina Beach, Hola Cuban Cafe serves up a flavorful breakfast and lunch with succulent slow roasted meats that are cooked in-house, Cuban style. Dine inside, on the porch, or on the back patio with a delicious array of Cuban sandwiches, pastries and most importantly – robust Cuban coffee!
Housed under the same roof as Mocama Beer Company, Mocama Coffee is open from 7am-3pm daily and is a great place to catch up with friends over a good cuppa joe. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to deliver premium espressos, drips, pour overs and other signature items, Mocama Coffee gets the day going!
Formerly The Mustard Seed Cafe, Amelia Fresh Cafe and Amelia Roasting Coffee is an organic eatery, juice and coffee bar located inside Nassau Health Foods. Menu items are guaranteed free of pesticides, growth hormones, artificial preservatives, and genetically-modified ingredients. Coffee is freshly roasted every day!
Where can you shop for chic clothing and enjoy a great cup of coffee to boot? The Little Palm Boutique, that’s where. They offer a variety of things for your sipping/shoppng pleasure. Everything from women’s clothing, lattes, espresso shots, local art, handmade jewelry and more! Located on S Fletcher Ave, across the street from the beach.
