Ways to Celebrate Easter & Springtime on Amelia Island

Springtime on Amelia Island means Easter and the beginning of outdoor festivals, concerts, and sports. From Easter Eggstravaganzas to kicking off the shrimping season, come take advantage of all this wonderful Florida weather has to give. Shed those heavy winter layers and grab your sunglasses and flip flops. It's springtime, y'all! 

EASTER

First Presbyterian Church and Memorial United Methodist will partner for a Spring Festival and Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 9 from 10am-1pm. Enjoy giant slides, hot dogs, Easter crafts, Kona Ice, egg hunts, and more! N 6th Street

The Bistro at The Courtyard by Marriott will have an Easter Brunch special on Sunday, April 17 from 11am-3pm. For reservations, call 904-261-1919. 2700 Atlantic Avenue

Bantam & Biddy will be serving a 100% gluten-free Easter Sunday takeout dinner! Enjoy Applewood smoked ham, mac n' cheese, deviled egg potato salad, collard greens, cornbread, and your choice of chocolate or banana pudding. Easter Bunny Breakfast - Children will delight in breakfast with the Easter Bunny and the Springtime Fairy. Saturday, April 16 at 8am.
Cottontail Tea Party - Children enjoy tea and finger sandwiches with the Easter Bunny and the Springtime Fairy.​ Saturday, April 16 at 11:30am.  
Easter Family Garden Brunch - Enjoy a spectacular Easter Brunch in The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom atrium overlooking the ocean! Sunday, April 17 from 11am-3pm.

Steak Out at Marche Burette - We believe that steak is a cause for celebration! Join us from 5pm-9pm on Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17 for live music, libations, steak and more! Choose between a hand-cut tenderloin, New York strip or our famous 36-ounce bone-in rib-eye. Prices vary.

8th Street Pup Crawl - Bring your pup(s) for their very first Pup Crawl. Purchased tickets include one bandana for your pet, a wristband for drink specials, a map of locations, and free golf cart shuttles between locations. Spring Wine Festival - Try over 50 different wines from around the world. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres from Bar Zin Bistro, live entertainment, and a keepsake wine glass. Saturday, April 23 from 1pm-4pm. Island Wine Company. 4924 First Coast Hwy

Sounds on Centre - The foot of historic downtown's Centre Street will be closed to automobile traffic and open to concert goers on the first Friday of every month, beginning April 1 and continuing through the summer. Enjoy live outdoor music and street dancing! Centre Street  

Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival
Giving tribute to the notorious shrimping industry of Amelia Island, the annual Shrimp Festival will be held April 29-May 1 and officially kicks off spring and the shrimping season. Enjoy parades, ice cream eating contests, pirates, local artists, live concerts and much more! Downtown Fernandina Beach

Earth Day Beach Clean Up - Celebrate Earth Day by joining our first beach cleanup of the year. Let's welcome nesting sea turtles to a pristine Beach by cleaning up the Junk! Saturday, April 23 from 8am-9am. Main Beach Park. 32 N Fletcher Avenue

Spring Group Art Show - Come one come all to The Atlantic Contemporary for a free Spring Group Art Show featuring National and Amelia Island based Artists and their newest selection of works. Saturday, April 23 from 6pm-9pm. 1014 Atlantic Avenue
