"Amelia Island is our favorite vacation destination. 🏝️ It is the perfect mix of beach life and low country life. The atmosphere, food, and friendly faces make it even better! 😍 It is our home away from home. 🏠 We try to make it at least twice a year. These are pictures from our most recent family trip this past summer. ☀️ We went to
@OmniAmeliaIsland the day they opened back up. 🎉 We could not wait to get there again. My kids waited for the rain to stop to go fishing 🎣 at Walker’s Landing. We LOVE 💗 Amelia Island!"

"My family and I visit Amelia Island every year for the
@AmeliaIslandConcours Car Show. We love walking around the events and seeing all the cars that are auctioned off. 🚘 Most afternoons we head to
#DowntownFernandina to hit some of our favorite restaurants and shops. 🍲
Joes 2nd Street Bistro is a staple to our visits and can't forget to take our annual photo with the Palace Saloon pirate. ☠️ Last year we were lucky enough to see a mega yacht 🛳️ at the marina and admire the historical sites once again. We just love visiting
#AmeliaIsland. It's become a second home for us and we can't wait to get back! ❤️"

"The Webber family spent a beautiful day out on the links. A picturesque moment of two birdies happening in action on
@omnioakmarshgc, hole 16 is a savored memory on #AmeliaIsland!"

Taking a trip down memory lane about our honeymoon in Amelia Island. We would start our mornings off by catching the sunrise on the Atlantic. Then go grab breakfast at one of the many great local dinners. Grab a cup of coffee
@ameliaislandcoffee and explore all over. We took boat tours with
@ameliarivercruises where we learned all about the wild horses on Cumberland Island and the eight flags that have flown over Amelia. In the afternoon we would head back to the beach but not before we stopped by
@drftwd to make sure we had all the essentials for a great time in the sun. We enjoyed the ocean and collected far more seashells than we knew what to do with. After that we spend our nights enjoying great place to eat like
@cafe_karibo and strolling along the pier. One night we had an epic round of mini golf at
@macgregorminilinks. After that we would walk back to the charming and wonderful
@ameliaschoolhouseinn where we stayed up talking about how much we love this little island.
#AmeliaIsland stole our hearts. I have never been to a place with such grace, charm, and a peaceful way of life. It felt like home right away and it was a place we never wanted to leave. Since then, we have been planning our next trip back. Thank you to everyone on the island for giving Kelly and I the most perfect. Oh yeah, I cannot forget to mention we made Kelly’s dream come true with horseback riding on the beach thanks to
@kellyseahorseranch!

"My dream of sailing came true [on Amelia Island] and now I continually think of how I can do it more and more... forever would be good! We had never been to Amelia Island. I am so glad I found such a wonderful place. It was very hard leaving. My children loved Amelia Island as well... it meant so much to me as their mom (having gone through several ridiculously rough times) to take them on a vacation. During our sailboat tour with John of Windward Sailing, I felt as if those two hours were absolutely ordained by God. It was such a beautiful, blessed time as if I felt a smile straight from Heaven. We were right where we needed to be. Now to find a way to return and for this momma to learn to sail and find a way to do so much more of it!"

"Amelia Island is a
#treasure and my bright spot of 2020. I was desperate for some
#sunshine and
#oceanviews and I found it in abundance. 🔅

The
@omniameliaisland hotel rooms are ALL ocean and pool facing. 😍 Each morning, I woke up to glorious sunrises with the sky changing colors and the sun slowly peeping its way above the ocean. It was a moment of peace and serenity that I will never take for granted. ☮️ With beachy-themed 🏖️ rooms and patios for pool and ocean gazing, you’ll find it hard to leave the resort. With so many amenities including walks through the sunken forest 🌳 and lounging poolside, there are plenty of reason to stay

#DowntownFernandina is home to restaurants and boutiques that I happily wandered through for a good part of the day. The
@book_loft is a charming bookstore full of the classics and modern day tales. Locally owned and operated, it was such a great feeling to be back in a brick and mortar book store and look for my next beach read. 📚

#FernandinaBeach offers a great many restaurants but my favorite was
@timotisseafoodshak. Just off Centre street, you’ll find outside seating and a playground for children. When the weather is nice, sit on their picnic tables and feast on fresh fish and chips with hushpuppies. 🍤

My visit to
@fortclinch was a fascinating display of history along with breathtaking reviews. I admit to being a history 📜 lover and enjoyed wandering around the Fort and peeking in the various windows that gave me a glimpse to solder life on the fort. An important part of history but also a beautiful setting to enjoy fresh air and glorious views.
#𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒂𝑰𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 provided me with long lasting memories and plans to return. I will not soon forget the ocean views, charming downtown and friendly locals and am forever grateful for the glimpse of serenity it provided.”❤️
