Pogo's Kitchen Summer Series Block Party (July 3rd) Kick off your Independence Day weekend celebration with live music from James Kalal & "That Blonde" Cheryl; World BBQ featuring: BBQ Chicken, Barbacoa, Tandoori, Korean BBQ, and Yakitori; Craft Beer from Amelia Island Brewing Company; Craft Cocktails featuring Marlin & Barrel Spirits, Wine & Sangrias, Games, Fire Pits, and Fun! 6pm – 10pm. Crescendo Amelia Patriotic Big Band Under the Stars (July 3rd) Join Crescendo Amelia for an Independence Day celebration featuring their full 18+ piece orchestra, dancers, singers, and entertainers. This is the grand finale for their Music Under the Stars Series, you don't want to miss out! Held at Springhill Suites (2700 Atlantic Ave) Reservations are highly recommended as this is a limited seating event. 7:30pm - 10pm.

Hometown 4th of July Celebration (July 4th) Join Light up Amelia for a family-friendly hometown celebration starting at 6pm in beautiful downtown Fernandina Beach. There will be live music, kids face painting and vendors, all held at Parking lot B next to the Shrimping Museum. The night will finish with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 9:00pm sharp!  

Red, White & Blues" Jazz Concert (July 4th) Sing patriotically along with The Dynamic Les DeMerle Jazz Quartet featuring Bonnie Eisele, vocals with Doug Matthews on keyboards and Johnnie Robinson on Sax. Story & Song Bookstore Bistro. 2pm & 5pm. Purchase tickets here.

The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island's Annual Red, White, and Deep Blue Celebration  (July 4th) Summer’s deep blue Atlantic Ocean provides a dramatic background for an All-American Independence Day Barbecue on The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island’s oceanfront lawn. An all-American celebration of summer beach vacation and Independence Day overlooking the deep blue of the Atlantic. Featuring a barbecue, fun activities, live music and spectacular fireworks show.

Fireworks Cruises (July 4th)  Take in the show from the water with an Adults BYOB special sunset cruise offered by Amelia River Cruises. Both depart from the downtown marina at 8pm and return around 10pm. $42 per person. Find out more and reserve here.

First Weekend Union Garrison at Fort Clinch State Park. (July 3rd and 4th)  Experience life in the fort as it was in 1864. The grounds will be bustling with soldiers in period costumes involved in firing demonstrations, marching drills, cooking and daily activities. Ladies in their fine dresses, peddlers displaying their wares, fife players, and drummer boys are all part of the fun.​​
