The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island held its first ever Amelia Island Cookout the weekend of October 20 – 22, and to say it was a huge success is an understatement!
The epicurean event took place on the oceanfront lawn on Saturday, October 21 where insanely talented chefs, both local and nationally renowned, showcased their extraordinary culinary skills. The diverse offerings included fresh seafood, grilled and slow-roasted meats ranging from white quail to a whole roasted pig, as well as freshly roasted vegetables sourced from local farms. Between the delicious food, free-flowing wine and cocktails, gorgeous scenery, live entertainment, and skilled emcee (David Benoit, host of the Food Network Canada/Cooking Channel television series “Fire Masters.”), it was a magical day for all.
Mark your calendar and make reservations now for next year’s event which promises to be just as delicious!
