About Rendezvous Film Festival
The Rendezvous Music and Film Festival is a 3-day International Film Festival, held every September, that includes over 50 films from 7 countries, as well as workshops, guest speakers, and lively open and closing night parties. The festival's name honors the legacy of Evan’s Rendezvous – the American Beach club that hosted legendary black artists such as Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, and Ray Charles. Not only will the Festival present many music-focused documentaries, but there will be an assortment of live performances both during and leading up to the festival – as well as the screening of a documentary produced by the festival highlighting the thriving music scene on the island. The festival includes over 50 films from 7 countries, as well as workshops, guest speakers, and lively open and closing night parties.
