Consumer Travel Advisory for Amelia Island

We are committed to following guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and thestate and local Nassau County Health Department (904-875-6100).  The safety and wellbeing of our residents, visitors and industry partners are of the utmost importance to us. We encourage our area tourism partners, residents and visitors to take any relevant preventative measures. We remain vigilant and will do everything we can to ensure our guests have a safe and pleasant stay.

IMPORTANT UPDATES

Safer-at-Home Order – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has issued a Stay-at-Home order, except for essential services. 
Executive Order 20-91  

Amelia Island Beaches CLOSED – The beaches of Amelia Island, including both the City of Fernandina Beach and Nassau County. Please refer to the Nassau County or City of Fernandina Beach sites for additional information. 

Quarantine Orders for Louisiana Travelers - anyone traveling from Louisiana will be subject to a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine & reporting requirements. Failure to comply by the lodging establishment or guests will be considered a violations subject to a second-degree misdemeanor punishable by sixty (60) days in jail and a $500.00 fine.‚Äč

Nassau County Executive Order 4

Quarantine Orders for New York Tri-State Travelers - anyone traveling from the New York tri-state area are subject to a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine & reporting requirements. Failure to comply by the lodging establishment or guests will be considered a violations subject to a second-degree misdemeanor punishable by sixty (60) days in jail and a $500.00 fine.

Suspension of Vacation Rentals - Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has issued a two-week suspension for vacation rental reservations.

Restaurant & Gym CLosures - FL Gov. Ron DeSantis issued the closure of all restaurant dining areas and gyms. Restaurants are permitted to offer take-out orders and are allowed to sell alcohol for take-out or delivery with a food order.

Recreational Vessels - Recreational vessel occupancy is limited to no more than 10 persons per vessel; and a minimum distance of 50 feet between recreational vessels and any other vessel shall be maintained (This distance provision does not apply to permitted mooring fields, public or private marinas, or any other permanently installed wet slips, and does not apply to vessels underway unless they are tied, rafted or moored to another vessel).
