Awful
They only have double beds, not big enough for a couple to sleep on. The pillows are old and lumpy and the bottom sheet's elastic is old and worn and comes off at night. The breakfasts are horrendous!
Excellent lodging
Clean, quiet, good breakfast. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Couldn’t have asked for more. Room was large. Full size fridge. Microwave. Coffee maker. Extra pillows and blankets. Very happy. Will come back.
Would not stay again
Upon first arriving the hotel seems very nice, clean and well kept. However upon arrival to our room (we had an adjoining room with my MIL) the room smelled musty, and just didn’t look overly clean. Ex: the front of the dishwasher looked like nobody has ever wiped it down, there was dirt and grime caked into the corners. We wore shoes in the room so I cannot attest to the cleanliness of that. We requested our rooms to be cleaned the next day as our arrival day we were so exhausted and just wanted to sleep. So let me give you a pro/con list. Our family consisted of my husband and I our 2 kids (4&12) and my MIL. We had 2 adjoining rooms. Cons: beds are awful, pillows are lumpy stuffing and as soon as you lay your head down it settles through the stuffing onto the mattress below, the couches are just…. Gross… I laid towels down to sit on the one in our room, the kids slept on the pull out in our second room. The wallpaper was peeling in our room, and it smells like damp wet moldy basement when the air comes on (I’ve woken up super congested every morning with an awful headache). The shower does not have a line to hang your swimsuits, there’s only 3 hooks in a bathroom for a room that sleeps 4 so there's not enough room to hang towels and bathing suits. The pool is very small, very limited seating in the pool area. Pros: very friendly and helpful staff(they were the best part of the visit) the free breakfast was nice, although the same choices every single day. Other Hilton hotels I’ve stayed at have different items daily, and they only had one waffle maker which slows things down a bit, I liked having a real refrigerator. It was nice to be able to keep snacks and drinks in the room, and the ability to make lunch. The ice cream shop is just steps away, in our family that’s a perk ;)
All in all, I would not stay here again. We’ve stayed at other hotels here in the past that are much nicer.
Birthday Stay
We experienced a very nice and fun stay at this hotel. The trip was for my spouse’s birthday and the staff at the hotel brought us a birthday cake which we very much appreciated. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated.
Nice hotel in great location.
Very nice hotel within walking distance to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Beds were comfortable, even the pullout sofa bed. The breakfast was well stocked with healthy choices and plenty to choose from for adults and kids. The lobby area had plenty of seating. We would definitely stay there if in the area.
