These Amelia Island restaurants and cafes offer delicious options for those who want to honor their new year’s resolution all year round.
Grab made-to-order juices, smoothies, cold brew coffees and acai bowls at GoJuice. Everything is served up fresh, daily with nothing extra added like syrups or artificial flavors. Their GreenGo Bowl (Frozen GreenTea Blend, Granola, Banana, Pineapple, Blueberry, Coconut Flakes & Honey) will have you wondering where GoJuice has been all your life.
The Loaded Lentils at Cafe Karibo, are made with spring greens, lentils, chickpeas, cucumbers, carrots, crumbled feta, and toasted walnuts. It is so good and so good for you. Sit inside or outside on the patio. Either way, Cafe Karibo’s eclectic menu and surroundings will keep you coming back for more.
Serving up fresh seafood baskets in a casual setting, Timoti’s Seafood Shak is a hit with just about everyone. Don’t miss your chance to dine on their ever popular poke bowl made with raw ahi tuna, coconut rice, avocado, spinach, and green onion. Or, try the blackened or grilled tofu tacos for a twist on the original fish taco.
The Impossible Patio Burger at The Patio at 5th & Ash gets rave reviews with two plant-based burger patties topped with lettuce and tomato. They also have many gluten-free and dairy-free options, like the pan-seared Snapper served with grilled asparagus and wild rice. Delicious!
Located poolside and oceanfront at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Coquina is a dynamic restaurant focusing on seafood and coastal dishes inspired by the island’s Eight Flags Spanish heritage. They have so many healthy and flavorful entrees that it’s hard to choose. Relax and soak it all in – you could get used to this.

Spend your Saturday morning strolling the Farmers Market where locally grown fruits, veggies, sweets, plants, arts & crafts (every other Saturday), and live music are good for the body and soul. It has been proven nearly impossible to walk the entire market without smiling at least once.
I know pizza isn’t usually thought of as a healthy option but Townies is an exception.
