Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to treat mom, or the special woman in your life, to a delicious brunch on her special day. Not sure where to go? No worries! We’ve gathered a list of enticing brunch spots all around the island to help celebrate her with a scrumptious day she’ll always remember!
Head to Marche Burette at the Shops of Omni Amelia Island and share the Brunch Tower. This stacked treat of deliciousness features scrambled eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, sausage, potatoes, pastries, Chef Brian’s breakfast feature, as well as tasty fruits and jams. You won’t regret it! $22 per person. Available Saturday and Sunday.

The Beech Street Grill is housed in the historic William Bell House and offers a delicious Sunday brunch menu with a variety of options. Dine inside or out on fresh local seafood, farmer’s produce, eggs benedict, breakfast burritos, salads, craft cocktails and an exquisite wine list. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Salty Pelican is a tourist and local favorite dining spot in downtown Fernandina with spectacular views of the Amelia River. Their Sunday Brunch menu varies from week to week but one thing is for sure… expect it to always be delicious. Ask your server about the Bloody Mary specials and Mimosa options on Sundays and raise a glass to the best mom in the world. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Garden Street Bistro is a great little restaurant located on 3rd Street in historic downtown that serves breakfast and brunch all day, every day. Not only do they specialize in original menu items, but they also have incredible freshly baked daily bread, burgers, crab cakes, wraps and daily specials. Sit inside or outside in the courtyard beneath wisteria vines and sip on a mimosa with mom.

Take mom to a place where the likes of Ulysses S. Grant, Henry Ford, Laurel and Hardy, and Mary Pickford have all laid their heads and dined. Leddy’s Porch Bistro, located in the historic Florida House Inn dishes up simple, clean, southern fare for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Try their famous buttermilk fried chicken & waffles and $15 bottomless Bloody Mary’s & Mimosas. Dine inside, on the covered porch, or in the beautiful courtyard.

Enjoy Mother’s Day Champagne & Charcuterie at Disco Witch Brewing located just off the island on SR 200. Special mother’s day charcuterie boards feature meat, cheese, fruit, nuts, crackers/bread and more, along with bottomless mimosas for two. $75/table for 4 people. Seating is at 1pm. Additional bottomless mimosas can be purchased for $15 per person at the door. Each board serves 2-4 people.
Dine under the oaks on the beautiful patio or have a seat in the cafe with an eclectic palette of colors and furnishings. Wherever you sit at Cafe Karibo you’re guaranteed a Sunday Brunch chock full of flavor. Try the Kung Pao Shrimp Soft Tacos made with local shrimp tossed in garlic-chili sashimi sauce and topped with slaw, seaweed salad, tropical fruit salsa and Sriracha. Unbelieveably delish! Top it all off with a homemade dessert fit for a Queen (or a mom).

Treat mom to a Mother’s Day Brunch at the Sunrise Café at Omni Amelia Island Resort. This delicious family-friendly brunch features fresh baked goods, salads, chef’s fried chicken, carving stations, seafood entrées, desserts and more! 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. $84 per adult and $44 per child (ages 5-12 years old).

Located on the south end of Amelia Island is a bright, breezed eatery tucked away from the main lines just waiting to serve you a delicious Sunday brunch and refill your glass. Pogo’s Kitchen represents southern hospitality at its finest and their made from scratch cornbread is a Sunday Brunch must have. That, along with the buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, will leave you and your mama with a satisfied tummy. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Patio at 5th and Ash serves up so much goodness you’re going to find it hard to decide. Will it be the yummy golden fried chicken stacked with Belgian waffles served with maple syrup? Or, thick Texas toast style French toast dusted with confectioners sugar. That’s just a sampling of their incredible brunch menu. Wash it down with one of several brunch cocktails. 10 am – 3 pm. Show your love and appreciation for Mothers and Wives at the The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island’s Mother’s Day Brunch. Mom will feast on delicious culinary offerings of shrimp cocktail and oysters, eggs benedict, made to order omelets, a carving station featuring prime rib and more. Relax and enjoy the refined ambience at this special Mother’s Day experience. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. $79 ages 4-9 | $155 ages 10 and older | $65 beverage package per person.
