Create something personal at Amelia Makery or Paisley Grace Makery, where you can craft your own keepsakes. And don’t miss Shady Ladies, an art gallery and studio that offers a variety of ways to artistically express yourself.

History:

Step back in time with a visit to the Amelia Island Museum of History, where walking tours and Docent-led museum tours showcase the native Americans, pirates, and pioneers that once called this island home. Over at the A.L. Lewis Museum in American Beach, you’ll learn about the inspiring legacy of Abraham Lincoln Lewis, Florida’s first Black millionaire, and the community he helped create as a haven for African American beachgoers.

English:

Book lovers, this one’s for you! Curl up with a good read or attend an author event at Story & Song Bookstore Bistro, a community hub that blends books, bites, and live entertainment. Or wander through The Book Loft, a beloved independent bookstore packed floor to ceiling with books and treasures waiting to be discovered.

Marine Biology:

The island’s waterways double as your outdoor lab. Join Amelia Island Shark Tooth Adventures to comb the beaches for ancient fossils, or climb aboard Amelia River Cruises for their Shrimping Eco Tour—where you’ll discover the island’s shrimping heritage while spotting dolphins, birds, and other marine life along the way.

Phys Ed:

Class is in session outdoors! We all have our favorite physical activities, and on Amelia Island, the options are endless. With so many activities to choose from biking scenic trails, kayaking through marshes, fishing the gulf stream, paddleboarding calm waters, or even getting a birds-eye view of the island with sky high adventure sports, this is one P.E. class you won’t mind attending.
