Dickens on Centre

Posted on November 24, 2015 |
I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach.
- Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

Amelia Island's Dickens on Centre festival makes its debut on Friday, December 4, with weekend festivities running through December 13. Hear heavenly carolers and roving musicians. Take in an outdoor screening of 1938 classic, “A Christmas Carol”. Behold the arrival of Old Saint Nick...and don’t forget to drop him a letter at our official North Pole Post. Cheer for proudly prancing pooches at the “Parade of Paws”. And take home authentic, hand-made gifts from local vendors.

So grab your top hat and fasten your bonnet. After all, this will be as fun as the Dickens.  Check out the complete event schedule, including stage performances and Movie Marathon screening timesCondensed schedule:
