Join us Saturday mornings in historic downtown for the Fernandina Beach Arts Market. This will be the market’s new location at 508 Centre Street, between Peppers Cocina Restaurant and Tequila Bar, and Century 21 Realty. This new location will house 30 booths full of handcrafted arts and home-made crafts. There will be a variety of fine and whimsical jewelry including The Copper Lotus. Artist Rachel Walker intricately, hand-wraps copper wire around a variety of gemstones, sharks’ teeth and more.
Also, at the Market this week is A Visual Theory. Ashley, a dancer and artist, designs tie dye apparel with cute, funky, and timely sayings. She also uses her quotes on book bags, book marks, ball caps, and more. Look for additional booths of pottery, apparel, leatherwork, water colors, acrylics, mixed media, wood working and more. As before, there will be no resold goods, no antiques, no multi-level marketing, and all art is made by your local friends and neighbors.
The Fernandina Beach Arts Market will be open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine.
