Fernandina Beach City Egg Hunt – The City of Fernandina is hosting a community egg hunt at the Central Park Greenspace. Bring your own basket and get ready to collect colorful eggs to redeem for a special goodie prize bag! Starts at 11am. Saturday, April 5. 1200 Atlantic Avenue.

Sounds On Centre – The foot of historic downtown’s Centre Street will be closed to automobile traffic and open to concert goers on the first Friday of every month, beginning April 4 and continuing through the summer. Enjoy live outdoor music and street dancing! Centre Street
Fernandina Beach Songwriters Festival – Attendees can expect not only live performances of chart-topping hits from top songwriters in the music industry, but also captivating stories and insights into the creative process behind the music. Sea Turtle Festival – The 2nd annual Sea Turtle Festival will be at Main Beach greenspace. There will be live music, food trucks, a kid’s corner, and vendor village. April 19 from 10am – 2pm. Main Beach Park. 32 N Fletcher Avenue
Isle Of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival – Paying tribute to the notorious shrimping industry of Amelia Island, the annual Shrimp Festival will be held May 2 – May 4 and officially kicks off spring and the shrimping season. Enjoy parades, ice cream eating contests, pirates, local artists, live concerts and much more! Downtown Fernandina Beach
Opening of the beaches and Wild Amelia Nature Festival – Come celebrate the opening of the beaches, featuring the Wild Amelia Nature Festival. Over 60 exhibitors, vendors, live animal partners, Touch a Truck, bounce houses, and nature based activities. Music from local favorites and food trucks will be on site. Bring your reusable water bottles for a free water refill. Saturday May 17th from 10am-5pm. Main Beach Park. 32 N Fletcher Avenue
