Where could you find top Chefs, accomplished Sommeliers, and master Mixologists all together for one incredible event? The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island‘s 2nd annual Amelia Island Cookout is the answer. Â
The foodie lovers weekend, held October 17 – 20, revolved around amazing haute cuisine and libations and to say it was a huge success is an understatement. Saturday’s Cookout took place on the oceanfront lawn where insanely talented chefs, both locally and nationally renowned, showcased their extraordinary culinary skills of innovative and diverse dishes including fresh seafood, grilled and slow-roasted meats, as well as decadent desserts – all paired with fine wines, creative cocktails, and live entertainment. Â A good time was had by all!
A portion of the event’s proceeds were donated to the Barnabas Center – a local organization providing help and hope to individuals and families in need throughout Nassau County, Florida.
Make sure to attend next year’s event which promises to be just as delicious. In the meantime, take a look at this magical day set against the stunning backdrop of ocean waves and coastal dunes.
