Author and executive Detria Austin Everson discusses her book “Serving Is a Superpower” at Story & Song Center for Arts & Culture. Everson is President Emerita of the John and Lillian Miles Lewis Foundation and spoke in Montgomery at the unveiling of the John Lewis statue. She reveals service as the surprising path to personal transformation and makes the case that the leaders whose work outlasts them are rarely the loudest people in the room.

Free and open to the public; no RSVP required. Refreshments served after the program.
