Jacques Pépin is a legendary chef and author of over thirty cookbooks, including A Grandfather’s Lessons, Jacques Pépin Heart & Soul in the Kitchen, Essential Pépin, and the New York Times bestselling Jacques Pépin Quick & Simple and Jacques Pépin Art of the Chicken. He’s won sixteen James Beard awards and was awarded France’s highest distinction, the Legion of Honor.
Jacques has starred in twelve acclaimed PBS cooking series, winning a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award. His dedication to culinary education led to the creation of the Jacques Pépin Foundation in 2016.In Jacques Pépin’s new book, Cooking My Way, the legendary cooking teacher offers expert insights on cooking economically at home, with techniques that save money, time, and cleanup effort, without sacrificing taste.
We are also excited that our guest interviewer, Mary Martha Greene, will be joining us from Beaufort, South Carolina! Mary Martha Greene, also known as the Cheese Biscuit Queen, has been described as “a skilled and seductive Southern storyteller.” Since the publication of her first book, The Cheese Biscuit Queen Tells All, she’s been featured in the Southern Cooking section of CKBK, an international on-line cookbook resource and Cookbooks with Virginia with her idol, Chef Virginia Willis.
Now following her true passion with cooking, baking and entertaining, Mary Martha Greene has a celebrated 45-year career in government relations and politics, including serving on the staff of Governor (later US Secretary of Education) Richard W. Riley, lobbying, political action, business development and consulting.
