The Fernandina Beach Kingfish Tournament and Fishing Rodeo and is produced by the Nassau Sport Fishing Association. This is a 2-day event with fishing on Saturday, May 30th.

The tournament has 2 divisions: an offshore Kingfish Tournament and a Fishing Rodeo that includes 8 different species, both inshore and offshore. This is our 43rd annual tournament and is sanctioned by the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA), a nationally recognized organization. The event will be held downtown at the Fernandina Harbor Marina in the city’s new waterfront park. The tournament will feature music, food trucks and beverages, T-shirt sales, a raffle, a Silent Auction, and will wrap up on Saturday with the weigh-in from 2–5 pm and the awards ceremony afterwards. The event will be open to the public.

** 1st Place in the Kingfish Tournament is guaranteed $10,000. Separate prizes will be awarded for each species in the rodeo division. The Rodeo species are Redfish, Sheepshead, Flounder, Whiting, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and Sea Bass.
