About Amelia Musical Playhouse

Amelia Musical Playhouse is an entertainment venue featuring musical theatre performances, plays, revues and more.  They have produced 9 musical revues, 9 non-musicals, and 11 full-scale musicals with 11 directors, casts, bands, and crew numbering close to 200. They have also hosted and performed at fundraising events for a variety of local charities. In addition, they run a student theatre group that has produced 3 musicals so far. They are a 100% volunteer organization and all are welcome on either side of the curtain!

Live Ink Theatre 'Uncommon Women and Others'

A lively staged reading of Wendy Wasserstein's iconic play 'Uncommon Women and Others' about five 1972 graduates of a women's college, five years later.  How much has really changed since then? How do you navigate the winding road you take in search of yourself?  And how would you ever get through it without your women friends?  The Washington Post called it "flip, hip, and funny."  The ensemble and director will host a talk back session after the reading.

AMP is a hidden gem on Amelia Island!
