If you have ever had pizza in Naples, Italy, we are going to pull on your nostalgic feelings. We have ovens built in Naples, San Marzano tomatoes grown around Mt. Vesuvius, fresh mozzarella from water buffalos in the Campania region, Prosciutto di Parma, the king of Prosciutto from the Parma region, etc….and we will NEVER compromise on the quality of these ingredients.
This makes a better for you wood-fired pizza experience that doesn’t load you up with a bunch of artificial preservatives, added nitrites, GMOs, sugars added to make things taste good.  The list goes on forever, but nothing will be better than trying it for yourself, fresh out of a 900 degree wood-fired oven!!

Cold food odd place.
Odd setup. Drinks one side food on another. No waitresses Ordered classic marg pizza. Very little fresh mozzarella. Overly thin and soggy. Sauce was different from take out I had. Both pasta dishes were not good and both were cold. Food side concert area looked like a warehouse.. Would not go again.
Slow start
Met several friends for lunch. Started out slow, no one at the counter to take your order. Several people were waiting. After about 10 minutes someone showed up and started taking orders. Prices are up just like most restaurants now a days but the food is worth it. Serve at the tables were outstanding, food was great as usual. I have eaten at several V Pizza location and this is one of the best ones. One thing that I have noticed is that the menu changes slightly depending on the location. Recommend.
SOGGY WINGS, BAD PIZZA, POOR SERVICE.
Friends raved about how good this place was, so I tried it. First time there it was bad. Gave it two more chances and nothing changed. The wings were soggy, pizza was also bad. Italian beef was bland and dry. I just do not understand how a place can talk up their ovens like that and serve bad pizza. when you try to eat it there was so much oil on the slice that everything just slid off onto the tray. The crust was not even done!! WTF? Service was horrible, waited an hour on one visit to get our food. Everything about this place was horrible on multiple visits, we will NEVER return! Wish I could give it zero's.
Not worth the time or money
We made reservations and they did not have a table ready for us. Then we waited almost an hour for food. Our Hawaiian pizza was completely burned but they brought it to the table anyway. The spaghetti and meatballs had so many noodles had so little sauce it was almost inedible. The meatballs were good though.
BEST PIZZA IN JAX, BEST WINGS EVER....!!
Stumbled upon this gem after checking into our hotel one block away and HANGRY. Could not have made a better choice. Ten different restaurants in our 7 day stay for health care in Jacksonville. V is #1 of our Ten! The Pizza, the Crust (we prefer well done so the firebrick oven fits the bill). The top-notch ingredients. The Calabrian Peppers. The Wings are OFF THE CHART, best my guy and I have EVER had, period. Also had the Bolognese Pasta, delish and an Italian Roast Beef, Wet, came home with 5 lbs. My family is from NOLA and we know good food. V Pizza Rocks. Do not hesitate to give it a try. Side Note: They donate to Cancer Families, Charitable business. And they have a killer bar attached (SideCar at this location) with some incredible mixologists. You can order your food from there if you prefer and they will bring it to you. Nothing but positive to say about this Business. See you guys in May!
