The Pelicans Condominiums

I booked a unit with Lee and told me he would call me for my credit card number. I signed all the paperwork and sent it back, but Lee never called. I decided to send him a check to the address on contract. The check was cashed. The balance was due 1 month before my trip and I had heard nothing. I emailed him 3 times and called his office. I left him messages on his cell phone. Still did not return my call. I finally text him & he responded letting me know I owed the balance. At this point I was mad and was afraid I would get to the condo and not be able to get in & he wouldn't answer his phone. I told him I was not happy and wanted my deposit back. He said he sent it, but I never got it. He stole $380 from me. He has ignored all my messages. The only thing I can do, is leave him negative feedback. Do not rent from this man.

We ended up here after the condo we originally booked turned out to be... problematic. After scrambling all afternoon to find alternate accommodations (across GA/FL weekend, no less), we stumbled upon this condo. Lee was extremely helpful, got back to us quickly, and let us inspect the condo before booking. His main concern truly was to take care of us and get us into a suitable place to stay. I also must point out he worked with us to stay within our budget where others might have tried to take advantage of our situation.

Lee and his team really worked to help turn what might have been a miserable week into a memorable one (for good reasons). The condo was spacious and well kept. The kitchen astounded all of us as one of the most well-equipped we had ever enjoyed in a rental.

Don't hestitate to book here. We stayed in #206, which has 2 king size beds - a rare find in any rental!

The Kiernan Condo at The Pelicans on Amelia Island was terrific! My family and I really enjoyed spending the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It was perfect, in terms of location, to different activities for varied interests of my family (surfing, swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, biking, nature hikes, walking/running, shopping, and relaxing). A quick drive to the town of Fernandina, offered delicious options for dining, fun for local music and dancing, and lovely area to explore. The condo was very clean and well maintained. There was plenty of space for our group and for cooking, and the beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean was great! The owner was very responsive to questions and accommodating to meet our needs as well.

Oceanfront condo had a balcony view that was Beautiful! Owners of these rental condos should really renovate regularly if they want a premium rental fee. With all the traffic through these rentals each season-carpets/pads should be replaced regularly along with shower curtains. Balcony furniture should be updated/upgraded as well. Pool area nice but during the 3 weeks we were there-several families had kids running and diving repeatedly into the pool(against rules)....with smaller kids in pool at the time! Parents of offenders did nothing....
Kitchen has all basics. We are looking at a more updated condo for our month long visit soon.

We had a wonderful time. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was beautifully renovated, fully equipped, spacious, had a great view from the balcony, and it was just a short walk to the beach.
The condo is clean and very well taken care of. It's also very quiet considering all of the families that stay there with young children. Nice and relaxing and just what we wanted for our vacation!
We spent a lot of time on the beach. It was nice and not over crowded.
We were sad to leave! We are looking forward to visiting again real soon.
