Peg Leg Running Tours offers historic tours of Downtown Fernandina Beach. All tours are run-at-your-pace, even if that means we need to walk.If you’ve never been on a running tour, they’re pretty much what you’d expect. We jog around town (about 3 miles) while talking about the historical points of interest.
The tour route is about 3 miles, or about a 5K. Tours are by appointment only. I can run the whole time, but you might not be able to and that’s okay. We can walk as much as you need to. We go as fast as the slowest person in the group. Tours begin and end by the big pirate statue at the foot of Centre Street. His name is Peg Leg Pete.
