Incredible Experience
One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had and I have stayed at a lot of nice places. The nature of the business trip involved encounters with many hotel employees and the consistency of the service and friendliness is a tribute to the training they have received. Just amazing, I can't speak highly enough for this resort! Cassandra at the Falcon's Nest was one of the wonderful people that deserved singling out! Will be back with the family for sure!
Over priced trap
So many reasons. First of all, room was never cleaned during entire stay. 5 days of garbage. No clean towels. Ridiculous. Prices are stupid. I live in Manhattan and I think these prices are absurd. I get that you think you are entitled to inflate prices because you are a “resort” but your food isn’t good. You can’t charge Ritz Carlton prices because they are down the road. I had to examine each receipt with a microscope because I was constantly being over charged. The restitution we got for living in squaller was $175 in “resort fees” that I didn’t know I was responsible for anyway. Seems high for a rusted out, corroded, beat up hotel.
Just don’t stay here. Ever.
Beautiful property
The Omni is a beautiful property. Staff were welcoming at valet, check in, conference rooms, shuttles and during meals … not as much in the bar area (asked me to pay for food without being given a bill and then came back and stood over me while signing .. very odd) Coffee at the bar is a must! Coffee in conference rooms is like water.
Food catered during meetings and in 4 restaurants I ate at were all excellent! Ladies at Marche Burette were working hard during Sunday brunch… kudos to them … they need some additional staff to help! Maybe rethink the brunch tower on a table with open slates. I stayed in Sandcastle II but did not book a villa. Villa was roomy, 2 patios with views that were perfection. Full kitchen, 2 TVs, dining table, couch and shower/tub combo. Blow dryer (no diffuser) and mini toiletries. Safe in room. No issues with WiFi. Tile floors really need cleaned, grout and grooves are black. Socks/slippers were a must. No room service or Omni robes in the villa. Lots of walking if visiting for business. Did have a few people in our group who had either staff go in rooms without knocking or multiple people assigned to the same rooms with surprise walk ins but hotel corrected the issues. Shuttle service was speedy and friendly to/from hotel to villa/dinner when used. Resort grounds are beautiful.
Beautiful resort, Friendly staff
Came to the Omni for a company retreat. The resort was beautiful and all of the staff was so friendly. Deidra at the front desk was especially kind, and very funny. I could’ve talked with her for hours! The food was delicious and the rooms were clean and comfy. Highly recommend this resort.
Beautiful relaxing visit
Clean room. Beautiful balcony view. The staff was wonderful, particularly Deidre at the front desk and Julio M. at the pool side. The property is very spread out so you definitely want to have your walk and shoes on and self parking is good and plenty but not very convenient so there's a lot of walking and if you have to take anything with you from your vehicle plan on a nice hike
