GREAT FOR QUICK BITE
It was a great place for lunch. Appertizers were great, Fish dishes were very good. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable .
Lovely view! Good beverages and good appetizers!
We 4 woman had an hour to wait for our sunset cruise. We decided to have a beverage and a couple of appetizers. Service was good, view was lovely, beverages tasty. The 2 appetizers: the fried green tomatoes okay. The pork on their homemade chips with a bbq, Spicy ranch sauce… HUGE and delicious!! We loved it!!
Amelia visit
Tonight, we went to Brett's Watetway Caféfor dinner and to watch the sunset. Our server was Payton. For a young girl, she was on point. She knew the menu well and could answer any question we had. The food was delicious! Drinks fantastic. For dessert, Payton suggested Key Lime pie and the Peach bread pudding, both made in house. These desserts were not only delicious, but enough for 3 people. We met Paytons aunt Jennifer tonight, too. Very lovely lady. I was visiting the area, but I will definitely come back.
Great place to eat.
Brett's Waterway Cafe sets at the end of Front Street by the marina. There is ample parking in the public lot by the restaurant. There are several handicap spaces also. The restaurant has curb appeal setting next to the water. Inside was well lit and clean. It’s busy around lunch time. It’s best to get there early. We were seated in about 5 minutes. The view from the restaurant is relaxing and beautiful. The seating staff were friendly and welcoming. Our server arrived quickly and was friendly and pleasant. She checked back often to ensure we had everything we needed. My order arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It was visually appealing and a good quantity of food. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich comes with coleslaw, BBQ sauce, onion straws, and a dill pickles on a bun. The pork was tender and mostly juicy and had a good flavor. There were a couple of dry hard pieces. The BBQ sauce moistened the pork. It had a good taste and slight tangy. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. It was a very pleasant lunch.
Great view and anything other than Bisque
Had soup and salad. First the Crab Corn chowder was amazing, lots of flavor and lots of crab. My husband had the Shrimp Bisque, more like shrimp water. No taste and like the left over broth from a shrimp boil(very very watery). No shrimp or creamy base. The salads were huge. I highly recommend getting their salads and any soup other than Shrimp Bisque. PS Our waiter was great and did remove it from the bill, because of other complaints
