Good quality meat
Bob’s steak and chops makes first class steaks and chops. We had a nice dinner here. My crab cake appetizer was very good. My wife reported her Nixon rings were terrible. However, as a main course she had the lamb chops and they were outstanding. My 9 oz filet was also delicious and tender. Deserts were ok, but nothing to write home about. Still, it’s specialty is steaks and chops and it gets 4 stars for those.
Not worth the money.
First of all, kudos to the waitress; our service was good. With the New York prices for food and beverage at this restaurant, we expected an exceptional meal which this was not. Everything is totally a la carte. The salad was unmemorable. The small filet was the cheapest beef option on the menu at $55. but contained a lot of gristle and fat. The crab cakes did not have enough crabmeat for the price, and were almost too salty to enjoy. The baked potato has a sea salt crust that is so heavy that you can’t eat the skin. The entrees include a “carrot” with each meal that has a sweet glaze with tarragon that doesn’t go with the savory options. Overpriced cocktails. We skipped dessert. Every other place we ate on the Omni Amelia Island property had both better value and better food.
Prices
If you really like steak and are very hungry then I would go but have to tell you that the price starts at 50-55 for the cheapest steak and the highest price was 124 for the most expensive one
All around fantastic!
Delicious food! Our cocktails were so good! We loved the atmosphere. We walked over from the resort and it was a very scenic walk. Highly recommend!
Good food. Ok service. Any attire goes
Went for dinner. Steaks were great. Salmon was excellent. Service good not great. Biggest issue is dress we were dressed nice. Men log pants ladies dresses. Saw men in shorts and tennis shoes Followed a young teen in jean shorts. Not resort wear as advertised, but, truthfully expected to see lack enforcement.
