Amelia’s Wheels is proud to make guided tours of their beautiful property available to resort guests as well as public visitors not staying at the resort. The Segway provides a unique experience throughout the maritime forests, ocean views and marsh waterways of Omni Amelia Island Resort. Tours run at various times daily. All Segway riders must be at least 8 years old and weigh at least 65 lbs.Prices range from $40-$95 per person, all tours include full orientation and certified guide.

We had great Segway tour with David!!! David provided a terrific Segway tour of the Amelia Island property. He was knowledge of this island, the nature, heritage, and the greater Jacksonville area. We learned a lot. We also went down some streets and saw the million dollar homes. This was our ~50th Segway tour. David provided plenty of safety instruction. We really enjoyed the tour!!! Enjoy. Great segway adventure with David!
The segway tour of Amelia Island was awesome. David was our instructor and guide as neither of us had any experience on a segway. From the start of the training video to hands on instruction, David had us out the door in less than 30 minutes. He was very interesting and knew a lot about local history. The scenery was beautiful and even if you feel like you couldn't ride a segway, I challenge you to try it because I was surprised at how easy it was. And much better than a bike because you don't have to stop and get off to look around. You can stop, stay on the segway, look around and then keep going. Thanks David and Amelias Wheels!
Segway tour was a highlight!
This was a highlight for my daughter and myself on our trip. We were nervous about learning to Segway but the instructors were thorough and patient. The Segway tour itself was fun and informative. We loved our guide, David! We definitely recommend this tour!
Segway tour - beginners to experts!
We had SO much fun on our Segway tour! We had no idea what to expect but acted like experts by the end. Our guide David made this ride. He was super informative and a wonderful instructor. So much better than renting bikes. Definitely worth the money for an awesome time.

I’d like to give a shot out to the awesome staff. Lauren was able to get us a Segway tour scheduled after their first not being anything available. Thanks so my much for squeezing us in last minute. She did an amazing job giving us a great time and lots of info on our paddle board tour, keep up the great work. Congrats on your wedding in December. Dan the man, you are boss my guy. You made the Segway fun and thrilling. Will never forget seeing the osprey swooping down out the tree with the fish in its talons literally as we pulled over for you to tell us the story of how it can happen from time to time. Thanks again for making it an awesome tour. I will be back! Take good care.
