Dickens on Centre - Event Information

Join us December 13-15 on Amelia Island for the 5th annual Dickens on Centre holiday festival! Throughout the weekend enjoy holiday and Victorian inspired entertainment on two stages as well as throughout the streets of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. Families will enjoy a plethora of fun including a Kids Zone, visits with St. Nick, holiday shopping, festive food & drink, costumed characters, and plenty of Christmas inspiration. Wharf Stage – The main stage area at Front & Centre will feature holiday & Victorian inspired entertainment from local and regional performers!

2nd Act Stage – 2nd Act Stage is located at the end of Artist Alley (end of North 2nd Street) and is set up for additional entertainment... like the stage production "The Legend of St. Nick"!

Tiny Tim’s Kid Zone – Located on South 2nd Street in front of Villa Villekulla Neighborhood Toy Store. Kids of all ages will enjoy Victorian & holiday inspired games and crafts as well as family-friendly entertainment and vendors.

St. Nick Grotto - NEW! St. Nick's Grotto, sponsored by Handi House Yulee, is guaranteed to put a smile on the face of children everywhere. Experience snow falling while awaiting your visit with St. Nick! He's the real deal... beard and all! Located in Tiny Tim's Kid Zone.

Peddler’s Village & Artist Alley - Shop for holiday gifts at our local stores as well as the vendors along Peddler’s Village (Centre Street) and on Artist Alley (North 2nd Street). Don’t miss the complimentary gift wrapping by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church to make your holiday shopping a breeze.

Fezziwig’s Courtyard – Located near the Wharf Stage on the historic train platform by the Welcome Center, Fezziwig’s Courtyard offers beer, wine and specialty Marlin & Barrel holiday beverages! Open to the public, Fezziwig’s will provide a great spot to enjoy the Wharf Stage entertainment. Hours: Friday, 5-9pm; Saturday, 1-9pm; Sunday, 1-7pm.

Dickens After Dark – A Spirited Affair for Adults 21+ at the Florida House Inn. Inspired by Dickens and his tales of the Victorian era, this returning TICKETED program for adults includes one complimentary drink, heavy Hors D'oeuvres, a ghost tour with the Amelia Island Museum of History, and specialty entertainment including aerial acrobatics by Bodyworks, Caricature Art, Wire Bending, and holiday music. Cash bar. Friday and Saturday nights, 5pm-9pm.
