A smiling woman in outdoor gear sits in a forest scene. Seven small circular portraits of people are on the left. Text reads, Amelia Island Where the Wild Things Are. A logo appears in the lower right corner.

Festival Storytelling – Amelia Island: Where The Wild Things Are

Brought to you by: Story & Song Bookstore Bistro

One of the many things that unites us as a community is our respect for and love of nature. From the beaches to Egan’s Creek, sea turtles to right whales, we are surrounded by life. Come celebrate the release of Story & Song’s new book about our natural world, listen to stories from caretakers of our animals, and be there for a remarkable and rare appearance of Cumberland Island’s Carol Ruckdeschel in conversation with Pat Foster-Turley.

Also, not to miss at this event are stories from our wonderful nature keeper representatives on Amelia Island:

Naturalist & Author – Dan Lorber
Marine Biologist – Nick Williams
Amelia Island Whale Ambassadors – Dr. Emme Devonish
Keep Nassau Beautiful – Lynda Bell
The Amelia Island Tree Conservancy – Diana Herman
Emcee and Florida Writer – Craig Pittman
