Baleen & Brew is an annual event hosted by the Amelia Island Whale Ambassadors to raise awareness about the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale. Join us to celebrate the right whales’ return to the waters off Amelia Island this winter for calving season!
Guest Speaker: Hear Theresa Hartz speak about “A Year in the Life of a North Atlantic Right Whale Calf”. Calves are born in our local waters. Learn about their time here in the calving grounds, their trip back north to the feeding grounds, and the challenges they face along the way.
Calving Season Guessing Game: Guess details about the season ahead, such as when the first calf will be spotted and how many calves will be born.
Listen to live music with Dan Barr and The Islanders!
Come hang out with us in a laid back atmosphere, learn about the North Atlantic right whale, and have some fun!
