Amelia Island is a short thirty-minute drive from JAX, with convenient transportation companies that service the airport. JAX is supported by all major airlines with new, nonstop services recently added to Austin, Texas; New York's LaGuardia Airport; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Los Angeles, California.

Arriving by Car

Take I-95 to Exit 373, turn east on A1A, then travel 15 miles crossing a scenic bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway to
Amelia Island.

Arriving By Ferry

Take Florida A1A south of Jacksonville to the Mayport Ferry, which traverses the St. Johns River. Or, take I-295 north to Heckscher Drive, then north on 105.

Getting Around the Island
