Come, catch the Right Whale Fundraising Sunset River Cruise to celebrate the whales return to their calving grounds right here in NE Florida and to learn more about The Right Whale Festival taking place on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5. The Festival is FREE and located at Main Beach Park, 32 N. Fletcher Ave.
The Right Whale Festival is fun for all ages with live music, food trucks, art, displays and more - all to help you learn more about the endangered North Atlantic right whale. This annual festival celebrates the return of the right whales to their vital calving grounds along the northeast coast of Florida.
Our warm coastal water off northeast Florida and Georgia is the perfect grounds for the whales to give birth to and nurse their young. With less than 350 whales remaining, this event raises awareness of the threats to right whales and how we can help in their recovery.
