Every Sunday, Nick leaves New York City and crosses the river to New Jersey to have dinner with his tender-hearted, loud, loving, and well-fed Italian-American grandparents. When Nick announces he is being promoted and moving to Seattle, they’re devastated. They quickly spring into action and concoct a series of hilarious schemes, using shameless emotional blackmail and matchmaking shenanigans to keep Nick from leaving.
