Come to this Author event with Den Rogers at Story and Song Bookstore Bistro as she talks about her book "Florida Woman".

Jamie is a Florida woman. She wears cutoffs, thrives in humidity, has been slapped by palm frond more times than she can count. After making headlines for an outrageous crime she never meant to commit, Jamie avoids jail time through a community service placement at Atlas, a wildlife refuge for rescued monkeys. But secrets lurk among the three beguiling women who run the refuge. As Jamie ventures deeper into the offbeat world and rituals of Atlas, her summer is soon set to become material for an even stranger Florida headline than she ever could've imagined. Free and open to all.

Located just off the coast of northeast Florida, Amelia Island is easy to reach, but hard to forget. With 13 miles of beautiful beaches, abundant native wildlife, and pristine waters, this barrier island has long been a beloved destination for visitors and residents alike.
