Dickens After Dark

Join us for the exclusive party of the holiday season at the historic Lesesne House on Centre Street in downtown Fernandina Beach. The entertainment during Dickens After Dark is not for the faint of heart. Watch an adults-only, whimsical version of Alice in a Christmas Wonderland accompanied by live musical entertainment, acrobatic performances, and more! With your participation (and a drink or two), your entertainment is practically GUARANTEED.

We highly encourage you to come dressed for the occasion in Victorian costumes. You will feel left out not wearing one. Click Here for costume inspiration. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by roaming entertainment, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages (the open bar will only be available until 7pm and will then turn into a cash bar until 9pm). The Alice in a Christmas Wonderland production by Jason Woods Acting Troupe will begin promptly at 6pm on the main stage and will be the only performance time of this show. You are invited to continue enjoying the entertainment atmosphere of jugglers, stilt walkers, aerial artists, ghost and historic tours at your leisure the remainder of the evening while also relishing in the exclusivity of the Lesesne House.

Your Ticket Includes: - Heavy hors d’oeuvres fit for the occasion. - Beer and wine: OPEN BAR from 5-7pm, CASH BAR 7-9pm. ​- The first glimpse at the Lesesne House, a classic revival resident home built in 1860, recently restored by The Saltmarsh Hospitality Group and decorated to set the scene for the evening. - Docent from the local museum will be there to share history of property. - All of the exclusive, holiday entertainment! Must be 21 years or older, no exceptions, ID's will be checked at the door.
