Unearthing Pirates’ Trails Through Archaeology and Archives

The Amelia Island Museum of History invites you to join archaeologist Ken Wild for an evening exploring the history behind pirate legends. Discover who the pirates really were, how they operated, and what archaeology and archives reveal about their hidden hideouts, battlegrounds, and prisons—and uncover the truth behind the mysteries of the legendary Treasure Island.

While the Maple Leaf exhibit is in the Lecture Hall through Dec. 7, this program will be at the Fernandina Beach Branch Library.
