DESCRIPTION:The Dynamic Les DeMerle Six-Piece Band\, featuring vocalist Bonnie Eisele\, will perform a special benefit concert in association with the Amelia Island Jazz Festival’s JAZZ FOR SENIORS program this Saturday\, September 5\, at the Council on Aging\, 1901 Island Walk Way\, Fernandina Beach\, FL 32034\, from 5 PM to 7 PM. DeMerle’s group features an accomplished unit of well-seasoned jazzmen who are planning a swinging show of classic and contemporary jazz. “We’ll play a lot of the memorable tunes from decades past\, and we’ll get in some surprises as well\,” he said. \nAdmission will be $25.00 per person or $40.00 per couple and includes a free glass of wine. \nCall for more information at (904) 261-0701 \nA not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation\, the Amelia Island Jazz Festival\, distributes proceeds toward educational programs\, including a scholarship program to fund college education for aspiring jazz musicians.
