About Amelia River Golf Club

Amelia River Golf Club is renowned as one of the best conditioned courses in the area. Smooth TifEagle greens, sculpted around a forest of majestic live oaks, sabal palms, southern pines and wax myrtles make it as beautiful to play as it is challenging.  The course consists of 18 challenging holes where ball control and accuracy are key to a great round.  The course has five sets of tees for players of all skill levels.  Lakes and ponds are featured on several holes including the signature island hole, the par three 17th.  The round concludes on the 18th hole with a stunning view of the Amelia River. The Cape Cod-style clubhouse adds warmth to the overall experience at Amelia River.  It boasts a casual Grill, the River Café, with a menu that is friendly to both the golfer with a hearty appetite and the visitor who wants a lighter fare.  Indoor and outdoor seating is available.  The golf shop features the latest in golf attire logo items and top-of-the-line golf equipment.

Bad Fairways

Tee Boxes and Greens were fine but the fairways were in bad shape. Maybe the time of year but I played South Hampton and St Johns the next day and they had great conditions for half the price.

Best Rates near the Omni for round of golf.

First things first .......Sherrill was fabulous made things a lot easier for us with rentals & cart. Tees & fairways were in rough shape. Tough to find a blade of grass. Decent greens, certainly good...
