An Evening in December offers a free family-friendly outdoor experience bringing the first Christmas to life.  Follow your story-telling guide and become personally involved in the story as you take an experiential journey of the Biblical nativity\, presented on 5 stages.  The 27th annual An Evening in December event includes an outdoor drama\, and an inspirational choral presentation in the comfort of our sanctuary.  No visit to the first century would be complete without a visit to our “Bethlehem” village.  Roman soldiers oversee peaceful shopkeepers\, a tax collector\, and an overflowing inn.  There will be furry and feathered friends in the village available for petting as well! \nAmelia Baptist Church\,  in Fernandina\, is excited to offer An Evening in December as our Christmas gift to the community. We invite young and old to join us Saturday and Sunday\, December 2nd and 3rd. Tickets are free\, but reservations are essential. Go online to eveningindecember2023.eventbrite.com. \nThe adventure begins when you park at Peters Point Beachfront Park and take one of our shuttles to the church campus.  No parking is permitting on church property\, apart from guests with disabled parking permits who may park in a designated lot on campus.
