Please meet at the Sandbar and look for the registration table. \nRegister online through Friday\, November 21st until 5:00PM to receive an official Run Like the Dickens t-shirt. If you register after 11/21 or onsite\, we will do our best to have a t-shirt mailed to you or available for pick-up at the Welcome Center. This year\, we will have youth sized shirts as an option. \nAll are welcome – including kids and dogs. Costumes are encouraged! Only battery-operated lights and lanterns will be permitted (no open flames or candles). Local food trucks will also be on N 2nd Street with food for purchase. \nPresented by Snyder Air Conditioning\, Plumbing\, and Electric. \nProcession Schedule: \n5:00pm: Music\, food trucks\, and general holiday merriment begins downtown on Centre Street between Front and 2nd Streets. \n6:00pm: Procession participants gather on Centre Street just before the train tracks. \n6:15pm: Procession begins! \nParade Route: South on Front Street\, East on Ash Street\, North on 6th Street\, and West on Centre Street. \n6:45pm: An illuminated finale will end the evening fun over the riverfront!

SUMMARY:The Maple Leaf: An American Civil War Shipwreck
DESCRIPTION:The Maple Leaf is a traveling exhibit developed through the Museum of Florida History’s Traveling Exhibit (TREX) Program. Behind the 2\,000 pounds of exhibit content is Dr. Keith Holland\, a Jacksonville dentist who discovered the wreck in the St. Johns River in 1984. Over the course of a decade\, Dr. Holland founded the St. Johns Archaeological Expeditions to excavate thousands of artifacts from the vessel\, buried beneath 7 feet of mud in 20 feet of water. \nToday\, the Amelia Island Museum of History hosts this remarkable exhibition\, allowing visitors a rare glimpse into the everyday lives of soldiers.\nA companion exhibit highlights the mystery and beauty of the underwater world through the lens of local Amelia Island artists.
